Hello. My name is Kent and I am a professional photographer. I've been living in Austin, Texas since 2013.
My photo journey
It all started when I bought a car in the beginning of 2020. A bright green Shelby GT350. It was my dream turned reality. I paid local photographers to take photos of it. However, it wasn't enough. I wanted to try to capture it in my own style. I bought a mirrorless camera to do just that.
Up in flames
Just 5 months in tragedy struck. On my way to take photos of my car an hour outside of town, my car shutoff and quickly caught fire. From the very beginning it was plagued with electrical problems and the root cause wasn't really known.
There went my passion for all things automotive and photography. Luckily, through the adrenaline I managed to grab my camera bag.
A new dawn
After booking a workshop with a renowned southwest landscape photographer in Terlingua, Texas, I was able to gain some much needed skills and a new found appreciation for the art.
While taking photos of apparel models for my clothing brand, I became more intrigued with portraits. Fatefully, I was invited to be a moth on the wall at a pole dance workshop. From that day on, my metamorphosis began and I knew I had to pursue more with photography.
